Alumni day!

Macie Wright, Dylan Jaden, and Tommy Campbell visited this year’s team to discuss their CEO experience from last year, where they are now, and add insight ahead of this year’s upcoming trade show.

A singular focus were the lessons from the class business. “We didn’t market it very well.” Well, until Dylan and Tommy went to the streets (literally!) to sell donuts. “Market your business starting now and often.”

Dylan continues selling his fishing lures, and Tommy continues to sell fire wood. Macie not only continues to sell her coloring book but also shared how CEO gave her the experience to improve her soft skills and speak professionally with others; what has helped her at college and to secure several internships this summer.

Great insights for this year’s team!
“Don’t be afraid to fail.”
“Marketing is crucial!”
Don’t clutter your trade show booth
Tier your products (not flat!)
And don’t be afraid to ask “the worst someone can tell you is no.”

Great day to see the impact of CEO!
