Start Your Application
When applications open, you’ll get a text with a direct link. Our blind review hides names and personal details, so selection is based on your potential and interest. The application is a simple 6-step process.

Submit Before The Application Window Closes
Late submissions won’t be considered. Submit a 150-word personal narrative on why you want to be a part of CEO, complete a character survey, provide the required character references (set by your program), and obtain parent/guardian approval.

Elizabeth Allen

Class of 2027
Elizabeth is a senior from Palmyra, Illinois. She is passionate about nursing and hopes to become a travel nurse in the future. Outside of business and school, Elizabeth enjoys cheerleading and is one of the cheer captains. She spends her free time working, she is class secretary, and a member of Student Council. She also enjoys traveling and meeting new people. Elizabeth is excited to continue growing her communication and leadership skills through the CEO program.

Kaylee Joiner
Macoupin County CEO
Class of 2027
Kaylee Joiner attends Northwestern High School in Palmyra, IL. She holds three officer positions; she is the Vice President of the National Honor Society, Secretary of Spanish Club, and Treasurer of EMBRACE. Through these leadership positions, Kaylee has developed strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills while learning how to work with a variety of people and handle different situations. Kaylee is also involved in many clubs at Northwestern, including Science Club, yearbook, Fellow Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, EMBRACE, and Track & Field. Her involvement in these activities has helped her become a responsible, dependable, and well-rounded student. Kaylee is committed to continuing to develop her skills and gain experience that will help prepare her for her future education and career. Kaylee plans to attend a four-year university. After college, she plans to become a police officer and advance within the field of law enforcement.
Sydney Black

Sydney Black is a senior at Staunton High School and a dedicated student who demonstrates strong leadership, creativity, and determination. Sydney is passionate about tennis and proudly serves as captain of her tennis team. Through this role, she uses her leadership skills to encourage, support, and guide her teammates. In addition to her passion for tennis, Sydney enjoys design and crafting. She hopes to turn her creativity and skills into a future business through her participation in the Macoupin County CEO Program. Sydney is excited to develop her entrepreneurial skills, learn from local business leaders, and gain the experience needed to pursue her goals.
